About the Role
Our Rhode Island-based global B2B financial services company is seeking a Change Communications Consultant to support transformational initiatives within its Claims Department. Reporting to the Head of Claims Business Transformation, this role focuses on developing and executing strategic communication plans to support significant business process and technology changes. The Consultant will also drive awareness of the claims function's value across the broader organization. This position requires a balance of strategic and tactical change communications expertise, with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement, creative content development, and alignment with agile project delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3-5 years of experience in strategic and tactical internal communications.
- Proficiency in developing creative PowerPoint presentations, visual aids, and SharePoint content.
- Experience supporting large corporate and technology transformations.
- Strong skills in scriptwriting, video creation, persona development, and managing complex, technical content.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including content for all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and project management tools to deliver comprehensive communication plans.
- Insurance industry, claims function, or global audience experience is a plus.
Contract Details
- 12-month contract with a competitive hourly rate of $65-75 (W2).
- Metro-Providence, RI as needed (onsite as needed - ~monthly)
