Our client, a healthcare provider is hiring a Director of Marketing to lead high-level marketing initiatives. This contract role requires a healthcare marketing leader with 5-7 years of experience in strategic marketing, brand management, and patient engagement. Responsibilities include overseeing marketing teams, driving digital and traditional marketing efforts, managing budgets and vendor relationships, and aligning strategies with hospital goals. The Director will also lead market research, performance analytics, and website development to enhance patient outreach and brand visibility. Strong leadership, project management, and collaboration skills are essential. This 3-6 month contract is primarily onsite, with hybrid options considered.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the hospital’s mission, vision, and business objectives.
- Marketing Oversight : Lead and manage marketing teams, ensuring cohesive execution of campaigns, branding, and communication strategies.
- Brand Management : Enhance and maintain the hospital’s brand presence across digital and traditional platforms, ensuring consistency and adherence to industry standards.
- Digital & Traditional Marketing : Oversee all aspects of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, website management, social media, and content marketing, alongside traditional marketing channels.
- Website Development : Contribute / collaborate with IT to enhance / evolve website experience
- Patient & Community Engagement : Design and execute initiatives to strengthen relationships with patients, physicians, and the broader community.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis : Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, business intelligence, patient demographics, and competitor strategies to inform decision-making.
- Performance Analytics & ROI Measurement : Track marketing performance metrics, analyze campaign effectiveness, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Budget & Vendor Management : Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, and manage external agencies and vendor relationships.
- Cross-Department Collaboration : Work closely with hospital leadership, service line managers, and physicians to align marketing initiatives with clinical priorities and patient care goals.
- Resource Management : Manage two staff / direct reports as well as external agency and collaborate closely with other internal marketing and creative team members.
