As the primary Client interface and service solution architect, this position is responsible for driving the operational performance of the business, aligned to the clients SLA’s and overall customer experience. Working cross functionally and with senior level client contacts, this position will develop and deliver innovative service and commercial solutions that drive value across the core forward/reverse logistics and test/repair based supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the value proposition and solution design discussions with senior level customer contacts. Present the results of any analysis / solutions to the customer which could include operational / financial impacts, potential savings & process improvements.
- Evaluate current activity for profitability, efficiency, effectiveness and process design. Perform strategic supply chain network analysis to develop cost effective solutions that meet the customers’ business goals. Make alternate recommendations.
- Provide strategic analysis on new business opportunities inclusive of distribution, repair, refurbishment and technology solutions.
- Analyze trends in customer data. Identify opportunities to maximize profit, minimize costs, improve service, recommend value-added business solutions and determine areas for improvement and growth.
- Act in a project management lead role with other cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with internal team members to prepare for RFI/RFQs and client presentations of services.
Business and Data Analytics – Leveraging Tableau and WMS capability, analyze data and automate KPI reporting to deliver transparency and enhanced decision making
- Must be an organized, detail oriented and self-motivated individual
- Strong analytical, financial acumen, problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MSOffice (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Project), report preparation and data analysis.
- Have the ability to work both independently and as part of team.
- Ability to interpret and comprehend contract language is a plus.
- Flexibility to travel is required.
Required Experience:
- B.S. Degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain or related discipline/experience is required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain project management and analysis.
- Forward/Reverse Logistics experience ideally in a 3PL environment
- Repair/Refurbishment experience is an asset
- PMP designation is an asset.
- Experience dealing with senior level internal and external contacts.
- Experience in Warehouse Design, Demand Planning, Sales Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Transportation Operations, Supply Chain Network Design.
- Experience in the telecommunications or cable industries is preferred.
