The Role: Recreation Assistant
We are seeking a Recreation Assistant to join our team, who shares our passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and has experience in recreation or therapeutic settings. The successful candidate will work closely with participants, caregivers, and other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist program lead staff in planning and implementing recreation programs, including social outings, arts and crafts, sports, fitness, dance, swimming, bowling, and cooking
- Supervise participants during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Provide direct support and contact with individuals and their caregivers, addressing their needs and preferences
