The role!
Position : Maintenance Assistant
Location : Beverly, MA
Pay rate : $20 per hour
Hours : Part-time, 15 hours weekly (Monday-Friday, preferably either 5am-8am or 4pm-7pm)
Summary & Responsibilities
The Maintenance Assistant will maintain the physical condition and safety of our Beverly Day Program. Includes cleaning and providing quick and cost-effective maintenance repairs.
- Performs general maintenance
- Moves furniture with assistance as necessary
- Replaces light bulbs
- Cleans bathrooms, kitchens, and office areas of debris / litter
- Cleans and sweeps floors as needed
- When needed, assists in any way to clean home location, and if needed for special project, will assist in maintenance at other Communitas locations
- Assists as needed to perform light plumbing tasks; unclogs drains and toilets, repairs leaky faucets, etc.
- Paints
- Other related duties as assigned
- Attend agency trainings as required.
