Company Overview:
Communities for People is seeking a dedicated full-time Social Worker to work in our Adoption/Foster Care Program providing family-based supports and services to children and adolescents placed in foster and pre-adoptive homes.
You will be instrumental in helping youth and families to achieve permanency, independence and integration into the community. At CFP you will join a team of dedicated staff work in an enjoyable environment and receive great benefits. EOE
Social Worker Duties and Responsibilities:
- In-home family meeting facilitation
- Case management with providers
- Support/on call to families
- Direct work with youth needing permanent homes
- Maintain documentation to licensing and accreditation standards
- Potential home study writing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, master’s preferred
- 1 years child welfare/foster care program
- Strong, writing and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to work non-traditional hours (including some evenings and weekends)
- Bi-lingual Spanish a plus

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
