Communities for People (CFP) is a non-profit agency serving youth and families through community-based programs and services. You will be instrumental in helping youth and families to achieve permanency, independence and integration into the community. You will gain professional experience and exposure to the child welfare system. We are looking for 2nd and 3rd shift (overnight) Direct Care Counselors for our Providence locations. EOE

Residential Direct Care Counselor Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dependability and reliability
- Ensure that the clients are receiving proper care
- Providing a safe physical/emotional environment
- Providing supervision
- Assist in developing and carrying out goals
- Excellent at conflict management
- Provide transportation as necessary
- Adhere to site policies, routines, and procedures
- Maintain certifications and trainings
- Attend weekly meetings, in-service trainings and orientation programs
Residential Direct Care Counselor Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalency
- Valid driver's license
- Own reliable transportation
- Bilingual (Spanish) a HUGE plus
- One year minimum experience working directly with adolescents and/or children OR BA/BS in social services or related field with no direct work experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.50 - $22.00 per hour
