JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Administrative Support Services Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Director
Classification: NON-Exempt; Wage $17.00-20.00 per Hour; Benefits after 90 Days
Type: Full Time (M-F; 40 Hours, Some Evenings & Weekends)
DESCRIPTION: Provide administrative support for client services and provide front desk reception duties. EOE
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Maintain a monthly, quarterly and annual statistics for grantor
- Create client surveys and compile survey results
- Complete monthly, quarterly and annual grant reports in a timely manner
- Manage client database, client files and track client demographics
- Maintain documentation of confidential client files and services
- Open and record all mail and packages daily
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director
- Prepare monthly board reports
- Provide reception duties such as answering/transferring the Crisis Line, Business Line, and screening individuals at the front door
- Providing basic client care in the scope of front desk duties and refer to advocates for additional advocacy needs
- Responsible for any other duties assigned by the Associate or Executive Director
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Provide services to survivors in an empowering, respectful and dignified manner.
- Adhere to, promote and enforce all philosophies, policies and procedures of COVE
- Allow flexibility with work schedule for job function
- Fill-in for other positions as necessary
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Empathy and compassion for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault; ability to provide services according to agency philosophy of empowerment; ability to work with diverse backgrounds and populations; conflict resolution skills; team player; self-motivated, detail oriented and able to work without direct supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a high school diploma and administrative work experience in an office setting. Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills needed. Excellent computer skills required including Word and Excel. Experience managing databases and grant reports preferred. Must own reliable transportation, maintain proper insurance and current license. Must be able to pass background checks. Bilingual a plus.
