As an Area Relief DSP, you will be working in different settings and locations, supporting individuals with daily living skills, personal care, and medication administration. You will also be responsible for fostering social engagement through recreational and community activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, and advocating for the rights and well-being of the individuals served.
Responsibilities:
* Assist individuals with daily living skills, personal care, and medication administration
* Follow individualized care plans and adapt to different program environments
* Foster social engagement through recreational and community activities
* Ensure a safe, comfortable, and inclusive home environment
* Advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals served
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 1 year of prior experience working with individuals with IDD. You must also be able to pass a national background check and possess a valid driver's license. Additionally, you should be able to lift 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs when necessary.
