What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR & Admin - Training Assistant position at Community Access Unlimited?
CAU's training department is seeking a training assistant to monitor staff's training progress and enter training data into our record keeping software.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION : The overall responsibility of the Training Assistant is to provide clerical and administrative support to the department by utilizing typing and data entry skills, personal interaction meetings, maintaining records and resources, filing, telephone interaction, collating, copying and materials preparation, mailing and distributions
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : HS diploma / GED. Experience in computer software, word processing, telephones, filing and general office procedures. Previous Office experience a plus.
JOB TASKS
- Send staff timely reminders for trainings and agency meetings
- Assist with completion of training-related documents / reports
- Conduct filing and scanning of necessary materials
- Conduct Self-Instruct trainings
- Complete necessary training reports
- Completes typing and copying assignments
- Special Projects as assigned
- Actively participates in Agency fund-raising efforts, committees, staff meetings, and in staff supervision
- Cooperate with any Agency, DDD, and DCP&P investigation and inspection
- Ensures compliance with all required state and federally mandated background and exclusion checks including but not limited to criminal history background investigation (fingerprinting), Central Registry, Child Abuse Record Information (CARI), drug testing, and motor vehicle checks.
- Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis / pandemic
- All other duties as assigned
