As an Area Relief Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across multiple locations. In this flexible and dynamic role, you will assist with person-centered care, daily activities, and community engagement, while stepping in to provide coverage where needed most. What You’ll Do as an Area Relief DSP : As an Area Relief DSP at CAS, you will :
- Provide direct support across multiple locations, assisting individuals in their daily activities, including personal care, household tasks, and community outings.
- Act as a dependable team member, stepping in to ensure quality care when coverage is needed.
- Promote independence by encouraging and facilitating the development of life skills.
- Advocate for the rights, choices, and needs of the individuals you support.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that aligns with CAS's mission and values.
- Assist with transportation, medication administration, and accurate documentation as needed.
- Build strong relationships and create meaningful connections with those you serve and their support teams.
