As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently and engage in their community. You will provide person-centered support, assist with daily activities, and help individuals achieve their personal goals in a compassionate and inclusive environment. What You’ll Do as a DSP : As a DSP at CAS, you will :
- Provide direct support to individuals in their daily activities, including personal care, household tasks, and community outings.
- Encourage and facilitate the development of life skills to promote independence.
- Advocate for the rights, choices, and needs of the individuals you support.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that aligns with CAS's mission and values.
- Assist with transportation, medication administration, and documentation as needed.
- Celebrate successes, big and small, and make every day meaningful.
