JOB SUMMARY:
Assist in developing and implementing Agencys Prescription Drug Referral Program. A specialized knowledge of prescription medication including equivalencies and alternatives is desired. Essential job functions include: Training staff and volunteers, possess high level of computer and internet competence, and ability to serve clients in varying economic, ethnic, and social groups without bias.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Extensive internet skills needed to link clients to prescription resources. Enter client services into the Agency ROMA information collection database.
Observe confidentiality protocols in dealing with client=s HIPAA and other sensitive or protected information.
Maintain accurate, complete, legible, and correct records as required by funding source guidelines.
Ensure the reliability and integrity of information entered.
Provide follow-up services for clients, including assistance with required paperwork, referrals, and guidance.
Possess valid Oklahoma Drivers License.
Possess reliable transportation for off-site work.
Perform other associated duties as required, requested, or assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Conduct work in a fast-paced office environment with frequent interruptions. Majority of work centers on serving clients, maintaining internet-based prescription drug referral database, related paperwork, and organizational skills. Possess strength and stamina to be able to remain in a seated position for up to 90 minutes at a time throughout the workday with a minimum of fatigue and discomfort. May lift and carry general office supplies and equipment, typically weighing less than 30 pounds. Lower body strength to stand/walk throughout the day. Local travel to meetings and business sites. Environmental demands include an air-conditioned building with fluorescent lighting, moderate exposure to weather conditions, and exposure to computer monitors.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. Preferred extensive background in Prescription medications, equivalencies, and alternatives.
2. Must be computer literate with respect to word processing, spreadsheet, database, and internet programs.
3. Possess ability to work with persons from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and economic levels without bias.
4. Strong interpersonal skills.
5. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Must have strong attention to detail.

Reports to: Prescription Drug Program Coordinator
Coordinates with: Community Services Personnel
Various private, public, and non-profit group agencies and businesses
