Description
The position has day-to-day management and operational responsibilities for a neighborhood or community center; including planning, budgeting, program management, community outreach, advisory and parent committee development, staff selection, training and evaluation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral science or related field required (master’s degree in social or behavioral science preferred).
- Five (5) years of human service delivery experience and at least two (2) years of management and supervision required.
- Demonstrated community leadership and advocacy skills highly desired.
- Must have the ability to converse comfortably with other organization leaders, businesses, community and participants.
- People oriented and ability to work cross-functionally. Multi-cultural experience in service delivery and experience in family or child development is highly desired.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required in communities with high concentration of families who speak Spanish.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, written communication and organizational skills.
Salary : $2,176 - $2,394
