Description
Directly responsible for ensuring health and nutrition services in all child development centers are in compliance with Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Head Start Performance Standards. Monitors health and nutrition services in child development centers. Maintains records as required by the CACFP. In collaboration with Center Managers, provides technical assistance to center staff that meets funding source requirements and to ensure program outcomes as appropriate.
Qualifications
- A. Health and Nutrition Specialist I: Master’s degree in nutrition, public health or child development.
- B. Health and Nutrition Specialist II: Bachelor’s in nutrition, public health or child development.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience. Skill and training in computerized word-processing and spreadsheets is required.
Salary : $21 - $24
