Position: Culinary Team Member (With $500 Sign on Bonus)
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 2 years in a kitchen environment where you’ve worked with a team to deliver quality meals.
- Skills: Strong culinary techniques, food safety knowledge, and a love for working in a team-based environment.
- Certifications: A valid Food Handler Card and a high school diploma (or equivalent) are required.
- Growth Mindset: We value learning and offer 10 hours of food service and safety training each year to support your professional development.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills are essential, along with a genuine interest in connecting with and serving others.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish? That’s a plus! The ability to read recipes in English is needed.
- Availability: Able to work a 6am-2pm shift at our Central Kitchen. We’re looking for someone who thrives in the morning!

What You’ll Do:
- Prepare Meals: Create nutritious and delicious meals that meet our high standards.
- Collaborate on the Line: Work with the team to ensure smooth operations during high-volume meal preparation times.
- Support Menu Innovation: Help create new meal options while keeping dietary and allergy needs in mind.
- Maintain Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure food safety protocols are followed, and help keep the kitchen a clean and organized space.
- Assist with Deliveries: Support delivery efforts and work with local vendors to get the best ingredients.
- Be a Team Player: Contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive team environment.
- Manage Inventory: Help track and manage inventory so we can keep serving our community without missing a beat.
- Ensure Client Satisfaction: Strive for excellence in the meals we serve, responding with care and adaptability to any feedback.
- Embrace Flexibility: Be open to changes in scheduling and priorities as we continue to meet the needs of the community.
