Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data within our systems, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accessible. Employee will participate in ongoing activities of data entry, record maintenance, and frequent communication with Designated Care Coordinators, DCC agencies, and other agencies when needed. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
This position at the Right From the Start office in Rainelle, WV.
Responsibilities
- Data entry must have the knowledge and technical competencies required to perform job responsibilities with understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and organizational structure and function
- Must be able to work to meet acceptable standards including accuracy, neatness, and completeness
- Must be able to produce amounts of work consistent with established standards
- Must be willing to take on extra work when time allows and is held accountable for and completes assignments in timely manner
- Must be willing to identify problems and opportunities, gathers and organizes facts and makes effective decisions using sound judgement
- Coveys information clearly, logically, and politely both orally and in writing
- Must be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, including customers and with the public
- Must be willing to offer suggestions, anticipates needs, seeks additional tasks as time permits, and develops and/or carries out new ideas or methods
- Reports to work on time, observes time limits for lunches, gives prompt notice of absence due to illness and adheres to all applicable policies
- Accomplish work by required deadlines through effective planning and prioritizing
- Works with supervisor to identify areas for personal improvement and attempts to increase overall effectiveness. Keeps abreast of current developments in field. Attends internal and external classes, workshops, seminars, and training programs
- Must maintain standard of dress, appearance and manner which are appropriate to assignment
Duties:
- 1. Employee must have knowledge of general office duties, greets visitors, answer phone when needed and address inquiriesregarding RFTS program
- Employee must be able to maintain a neat and orderly work station and systems
- Employee must maintain client records and files neatly and enters data into the state database in a timely, accurate manner
- Employee must process Designated Care Coordinator’s paperwork, requests corrections from DCCs, and maintains necessarylist for DCCs/RCC in a timely manner
- Employee must assist other co workers when time allows with getting materials ready for outreach events
- Employee must keep LITT system up to date with all new incoming referrals for CASEWV, Right From the Start and follow through as needed with updates of system received from CASEWV.
Qualifications & Education:
- Employee must have high school diploma or GED
Required Skills & Experience:
- Employee must have a thorough understanding of all data entry needs
- Employee should have basic knowledge of Excel and Windows
- Employee should have a history of clerical work experience
- Employee should have good organization, communication, and computer skills
