GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Facility Coordinator’s role is to make sure all general and preventive maintenance operations that the agency requires are performed on a timely basis. The Facilities Coordinator duties include the coordination of building maintenance, repairs, security, safety, and key control for all facilities. The position will also collaborate with external partners, including consultants, agencies, and vendors, to arrive at the most appropriate system or integration of multiple systems. This position supports six separate locations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• 2 years of experience in facilities
• Organization and communication skills - verbal and written
• Experience using Outlook and Office 365

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform or contract predictive and preventative maintenance as required for equipment, facilities, and vehicles.
• Maintain precise equipment preventive maintenance and repair records.
• Ability to work in most weather conditions and meet the physical demands of the job.
• Provide a communication point for maintenance sub-contractors and supply vendors for quotations, all annual service agreements and product or work inspection.
• Prepare requests for proposals and/or obtain quotes in accordance with agency procurement guidelines when necessary. Review current services (e.g., janitorial, utilities) to determine areas of cost efficiencies.
• Provide or contract general maintenance service to facility personnel (assemble furniture and accessories).
• Operate an agency-wide computerized inventory and work order system.
• Active member of CAPSC's Safety Committee.

EMPLOYMENT SCREENING
Valid Driver's License and insured vehicle (100/300 minimum coverage) for use on the job or acceptable alternative, driving record check, criminal record check, randomized drug screening.
Head Start, Early Head Start, Childcare, and Home Visiting Programs are also subject to the following: Head Start and childcare licensing requires a criminal record check and finger printing to be completed prior to employment. An initial physical examination record, including a TB screening must be obtained within 60 days of hire, updated every three years, and kept on file with Human Resources. If a TB screening indicates high risk, results of a TB test must be kept on file including any treatment received. An initial driving record check will be conducted. License information will also be submitted to the agency's automobile insurance carrier.
