Administrative Specialist
Community Action is seeking candidates for Administrative Specialist, at our 210 O Street location. This position will be responsible for guest services, greeting and directing program participants, visitors, and vendors to the appropriate resources, and responding to inquiries and requests. Administrative support is also provided to Human Resources and other departments as needed.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours, 5 days per week (M-F).
Starting Pay: $20.15/hour
- Answers and directs incoming phones calls. Greets, acknowledges, and assists all guests as requested.
- Responds to and resolves crisis situations; initiates incident reports when required.
- Maintains calendar/schedule for room reservations and vehicle checkout processes.
Assist with maintenance needs of copiers including toner changes and maintenance of copier program codes.
- Enters data for various programs; assists programs as requested by the manager by scheduling appointments, explaining procedures to participants. Assists with general clerical support.
Completing HR data entry, background checks, filing, document scanning, and general clerical support.
Assisting with recruitment and hiring processes.
Maintaining vehicle and conference room reservations.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required with three (3) years clerical experience or equivalent education preferred. Strong verbal and written proficiencies of the English language required. Nebraska driver’s license and good driving record preferred.
