Infant Toddler Aide Memphis
CAPNEMO Early Heas Start program announces the opening of an Infant/Toddler aide position. The Infant/toddler aide has major responsibility for assisting the lead teacher in maintaining a classroom environment that is nurturing, consistent, stable, and supportive of establishing close relationships with the infants and toddlers in care and their parents. The infant/toddler aide assists the EHS teacher in developing appropriate plans, and individualized learning experiences for infants and toddlers in care. Works to fully involve families in the program. Follows all Missouri Childcare Licensing Regulations and Head Start Performance Standards and meets all Head Start recording-keeping and recording requirements.
A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must participate in/pass random drug and alcohol testing. Must pass a Child and Elder Care Worker screening, provide proof of a yearly physical exam and TB test, and participate in all required training. Must maintain current First Aid and CPR certification. Must maintain a valid Class "F" driver's license, have reliable transportation, and meet Missouri automobile liability minimum requirements.
