Job Summary
We are seeking a highly-skilled, organized Procurement/Facilities/HIM personnel to join our growing company. In this position, you will be responsible for the procurement of goods and services, as well as the upkeep of an organization's facilities, ensuring efficient operations by coordinating supplier relationships, managing facility maintenance, and optimizing costs across both areas while adhering to company policies and safety standards.
As a Health Information Manager (HIM) you will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and protecting patient medical records, including tasks like data analysis, ensuring accuracy, complying with regulations, releasing patient information securely, and overseeing the implementation and maintenance of electronic health records (EHR) systems within a healthcare facility; essentially managing the flow of patient health information to ensure proper access and security while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
Procurement Duties and Responsibilities:
- Purchase supply of products/materials
- Determine the lowest cost for products/materials
- Track and record orders
- Receive orders and document arrivals
- Manage supply base
- Analyze market and delivery systems
- Source and interview vendors; negotiate contracts and costs
- Analyze supply base
- Prepare requisitions and purchase orders
- Monitor order expenses
- Communicate performances and costs to management
- Recommend new processes or systems for improvement; implement new ideas and strategies
- Organize and schedule procurements in a timely manner
- Operate equipment and follow all safety procedures
- Communicate with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers to align goals
Facilities Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspecting building systems and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure proper functionality.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building components to prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnosing and fixing issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other building components.
- Responding promptly to emergencies like leaks, power outages, and equipment failures.
- Performing minor carpentry repairs as needed
- Documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used in detailed reports.
- Ensuring all work is performed according to safety regulations and procedures.
- Collaborating with other departments and external contractors to address maintenance needs.
- Maintaining an inventory of maintenance supplies and parts.
- Understanding the operation of various building systems like fire alarms, security systems, and lighting systems.
Health Information Manager (HIM):
- Reviewing and analyzing patient records for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensuring proper documentation and coding of diagnoses, procedures, and medications.
- Maintaining the integrity of medical records, including physical and electronic formats.
- Managing the release of patient information according to HIPAA regulation
- Analyzing patient data to identify trends and patterns for quality improvement.
- Generating reports on healthcare utilization, patient demographics, and clinical outcomes.
- Utilizing data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from patient records.
- Implementing and maintaining electronic health record systems.
- Protecting patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Staying updated on healthcare regulations and industry standards.
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws regarding patient records.
- Auditing medical records to identify areas for improvement

- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift 25-30 pounds or more

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
