The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of animal physiology and anatomy, along with hands-on experience in veterinary practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.
- Perform diagnostic tests, including X-rays, blood work, and urinalysis.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor animal patients pre- and post-operatively.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and training techniques.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques and proper sanitation protocols.
- Restrain animals safely during examinations and procedures.
Skills
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy.
