We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of facilities and common grounds contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both residential and commercial spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in various facilities, including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist with residential painting projects as needed to enhance the appearance of facilities.
- Manage industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety standards.
- Support facility maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues that require attention.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained in good condition and used safely.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold the overall cleanliness and functionality of the premises.
- Maintenance of pool, including cleaning and maintaining chemical.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred; experience in commercial cleaning is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic residential painting tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
