About the position:
CAS and/or SSENT are currently seeking a bi-lingual (English and Spanish), dependable, energetic, and patient/client-focused PCC to join its fast-paced, progressive team at the Silver Spring, MD location. The PCC greets patients, clients, and other guests, schedules appointments, collects information, maintains records, prepares and disseminates internal and external communication in English and/or Spanish, handles patient/client-related transactions, and assists team members in delivering excellent service and products.
Job Duties:
- Welcomes/greets patients, clients, and visitors in person or on the telephone; answers or refers inquiries
- Optimizes patients'/clients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone
- Keeps patient/client appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient/client arrival; reviews service delivery compared to schedule; reminds provider of service timelines
- Answers patients'/clients' questions and concerns related to services and products
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient/client records
- Ensures HIPAA compliance and patient/client confidentiality
- Reliably maintains digital patient/client data by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
- Supports accurate revenue collection by recording and updating financial information and appropriately organizing patient/client records
- Maintains business office inventory and equipment by noting needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies
- Schedules equipment service and repairs as requested
- Receives and distributes mail/packages; and prepares mail-outs
- Supports efficient operations by following policies and procedures and reporting on needed changes
- Prepares and maintains reception area
- Contributes to team efficiency and effectiveness by accomplishing related results as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
The PCC is the center-point person for all patient/client care and office functions. The PCC must demonstrate:

- Capacity to always deliver superb patient/client care
- Ability to learn quickly, attend to details, and efficiently prioritize
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously and still deliver on time
- Organization and time management skills that improve office efficiency
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Spanish
- Proficient command of computer software and internet use
- Team collaboration skills and professional presentation
PREFERRED CANDIDATE
The preferred PCC candidate will:
- Demonstrate English and Spanish proficiency in written and spoken formats
- Have prior receptionist/administrative assistant experience in a medical, aesthetics, and/or other similar environment
- Be available to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M until 5:30 P.M.
