SUMMARY
Responsible for learning to assist in the daily operation, processing, and balancing of transactions and data. Perform various data processing activities and assist in troubleshooting and monitoring operational activities. Incumbent will have knowledge of item processing in order to perform tasks independently with direction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned.
Learn the established procedures for the following functions:
· Maintain confidentiality of customer account information
· Print and distribute core system reports and notices.
· Review merchant and branch capture data and resolve issues.
· Reconcile charge off deposit accounts to the general ledger.
· Maintain online banking information for retail and business customers, including initial business online customer set-up.
· Assist retail and business online customers with bill pay issues.
· Respond to incoming customer emails and research issues.
· Perform other duties as required or assigned.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus additional bank-related training; two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to operate the following equipment: telephone, 10-key calculator, personal computer and printer, copy machine, step stool and/or ladder, multi-drawer file cabinet and fax machine. Advance PC required.
Must have working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database software programs.
KEY CONTACTS—Internal and External:
Has contact with Bank personnel regarding customer and/or teller transaction errors. Has contact with Teller and merchant capture business customers regarding the processing of daily work. Has contact with departments regarding reports, procedures, and hardware or software problems. Has contact with customers regarding transaction errors. Support personnel, hardware field engineers, and supply vendors.
