Responsibilities
As an integral member of the Loan Operations Department, The Loan Operations Quality Control Representative 1 is mainly responsible for the verification of new loan onboarding for Consumer, Residential, and/or Commercial/Business loans, as well as loan and credit line maintenance, and the proper posting of loan payments and payment reversals.
Essential Duties:
- Verify new loan information on the core servicing system against the loan documentation for accuracy and adherence to compliance, bank policy, and procedures
- Verify exceptions are written correctly for incorrect calculations, missing documents, incorrect documents, and recorded documents
- Verify the accuracy of payment and maintenance information, and submit requests for corrections when errors are detected
- Verify that loan documents are scanned in proper system and prepare file for document destruction, if applicable
- Perform an initial review of CRA/HMDA and 1071 information to see if reportable and verify applicable data
- Review and verify auto transfer forms to information on the core system to ensure accuracy
- Use Synergy daily to review reports needed for verification processes
- Upload daily maintenance and payments to Synergy for review by audit and/or compliance
- Refer major loan violations to the supervisor for review
- Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with, all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner
- Provide assistance wherever necessary to help the Loan Operations Department and the Bank in achieving their annual goals
Qualifications
Education, Training and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates Degree in business related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail as well as proven organizational and analytical skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively under time constraints
- Above average written and verbal communication skills
- Must have intermediate to strong PC skills including ability to create and work with data in Excel
- Must be able to consistently demonstrate the Company’s core values: integrity, excellence, teamwork and humility
Experience:
- Preference will be given to a candidate with at least one (1) year experience in banking and knowledge of lending products and services; as well as working knowledge of the required documentation for Consumer and/or Residential or Business/Commercial loan types

Hours: 40 hours/week; Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00
Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
