About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic self-starting professional to coordinate the Community Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative, a national effort to provide technical assistance and training to organizations, municipalities and public agencies implementing community violence intervention programming.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Project Director, this position will assist with the administration of the CVIPI program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide thought leadership on project planning and implementation
- Develop systems, process, and tracking materials to support project efficiency and continuous improvement
- Support documentation management and reporting across multiple stakeholder groups
- Interface with external partners
- Facilitate meetings with internal team, and external partners and stakeholders
- Assist with federal reporting
- Track and document overall project progress, successes, and critical issues
- Assist with contracting, contract monitoring, and invoicing
- Manage team communiques
- Assist with scheduling
- Assist with curriculum design and development
- Assist with logistics coordination for the logistics for in-person peer exchanges and trainings
- Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables.
Job Requirements
This is a part time position and will require 20-25 hours per week with flexibility. Some travel may be required for retreats, site visits, and in-person trainings. Job requirements include:
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Superior meeting facilitation skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suites, Google Suites, Project Management Systems (Monday.com)
- Experience with training and capacity building
- Experience building and managing teams
- At least 3 years supervisory experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in the field or in a related area
