Key Responsibilities:
- Purchasing Management:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and address delays proactively.
- Inventory Control:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and sales needs while minimizing carrying costs.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and align purchasing activities accordingly.
- Implement and manage inventory tracking systems to monitor stock levels and turnover.
- Vendor Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor vendor performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
