ASU Providence Temporary Psychiatric LPN (Part Time, 24hours/week)
Pay rate: $37/hr
Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays 7am-7pm
Position Summary:
Our Acute Stabilization Unit (ASU) in Providence, RI is seeking a part time temporary LPN (24 hours/week) to provide direct care services.
An ideal candidate will coordinate care effectively in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. LPN will access on-call psychiatry and NP services when needed. The ASU is a trauma-informed, client-centered care unit providing diversion and stepdown treatment for clients experiencing behavioral health crisis.
Education and Training Required:
Active Rhode Island LPN license.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and administering medication.
- Obtaining vital signs.
- Completing SA withdrawal flow sheets.
- Administering detoxification medication per protocols.
- Assisting RNs in coordinating medication ordering and delivery from Horizon pharmacy.
- Providing direct care services as needed.
- Ordering medical supplies.
