ASU Psychiatric RN(Full Time, 36 hours)
Providence, RI
Schedule: 3rd Shift;Thurs-Sat (7pm-7am)
We are looking for a full-time (36 hours per week), third-shift RN for our 16-bed Acute Stabilization Unit (ASU) in Providence, RI.
The ASU delivers trauma-informed, client-centered, quality care to adults in mental health crises. No restraints are utilized, as our facility is voluntary.
The unit's nurses are responsible for the following:
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting the psychiatric and medical needs of clients, and consulting with providers as needed
- Reviewing referrals
- Conducting assessments
- Reconciling and ordering medications
- Administering medications
- Providing crisis intervention, milieu management, and health education as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team
ASU nursing requires a high degree of client interaction and working as a team. People skills and good bedside manner are a must!

Education/Licensing Requirements:
- Seeking an RN, BSN, or ADN.
- RI RN licensure required.
