What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family/Youth Peer Support Specialist position at Community Care ME?
The Certified FYSS provides community-based support to families of children who have a mental health diagnosis and need some support/assistance with managing challenges and navigating care systems. The FYSS must be an individual who has, or has a family member who has, received, or is currently receiving, supportive services related to a diagnosed mental illness and is willing to self-identify as such. Minimum Qualifications: CIPSS (Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist) certification or eligibility for certification. Experience working in a peer support role is preferred.
