Introduction
The Christian Event Coordinator also known as Community Builders are a team of two individuals who live onsite in the community that they serve in. They have a heart for serving people. Their main role is hosting two events and two spiritual activities per month. This is a Christian ministry position.
Responsibilities and Expectations
Events (12 hours per month)
The purpose for this is to engage your community and build relationships.
Host and Lead 2 events and 2 spiritual activities every month. (2-4 hours per event)
Relationship Building (5 hours per month)
The purpose of this is to develop lasting relationships with residents.
Investing in relationships with residents outside of events.
Welcome gifts (2 hours per month)
Coaching (1 hour per month)
The purpose of the call is to check in with the Community Builders once a month.
Monthly coaching call with the Director of Community Care Network.
Reports and meetings (4 hours per month)
Create a monthly newsletter for upcoming events. (1 hour per month)
Meet with the property manager once a month about events and activities. (1 hour per month)
Submit a monthly event report. (1 hours per month)
Submit a monthly credit card report by the 3rd of each month. (1 hour per month)
Communication (2 hour per month)
Communicating regularly with the Director of Community Care Network. (Outside of coaching calls)
Responding to calls, texts and emails from Community Care Network, property staff, and residents in a timely manner.
Qualifications
-Ministry Minded: The position requires individuals with a heart for sharing the gospel.
-Relational: Enjoy meeting new people, networking in the community, and planning social activities.
-Event Planners: Plan and facilitate events to attract and retain residents. They enjoy being the life of the party, designing exciting atmospheres, and drawing people into conversations and experiences.
-Available: Available to host events and perform weekly visits when the apartment residents are most likely to attend or be at home, including evenings and weekends.
-Responsible: Trustworthy managing the monthly event budget, responding in a timely manner to texts and emails and submitting monthly reports on time.
Time Commitment:
25 hours per month time commitment.
Compensation:
-Free rent on one or two bedroom apartments or a discount of $750 a month on larger units. (does not include parking, utilities, etc.)
Etc.:
-$3/unit per month budget for events, activities and move in gifts
