Full-time Associate In-House Counsel position available in Latham, NY, with a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $187,500.
**Job Description:**
Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate In-House Counsel to join our legal department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
* Reviewing and drafting proposed contracts to ensure they meet business and legal objectives
* Assisting in the negotiation of contracts and providing legal advice on corporate governance and administration
* Preparing and reviewing corporate documents, including bylaws, minutes, resolutions, policies, procedures, and forms
* Providing legal guidance and support for various practice activities and issues
* Supporting risk management activities by anticipating and guarding against legal risks to Community Care Physicians, PLLC
* Monitoring pertinent legislative and regulatory developments
* Educating board, management, health care providers, and other staff on legal matters
* Assisting in overseeing outside counsel and handling complex legal matters, business transactions, or other projects as assigned
**Requirements:**
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Five (5) years of health law experience in private practice or as in-house counsel
* Admission to practice law in New York within 180 days of hire
