Behavioral Health Consultant

Our Pediatrics Guilderland practice is looking for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join their team. This position can be full time or part time.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work exclusively with pediatric and adolescent patients within the practice. You will be expected to work with diagnoses included but not limited to anxiety, depression, OCD and behavioral and emotional issues. You will not be required to provide counseling for ADHD or school evaluations.

Annual salary range : $64,637.75 - 82,413.25

• Master's degree in counseling with independent licensure as an LMHC required. All must be licensed or license pending in New York State.
• Previous experience working with children / adolescent within ethnically and culturally diverse families.
• Position requires moderate physical activity such as sitting, traveling, walking, driving, bending, lifting, and computer usage.
• Ability to work independently, organize tasks, problem solve, make decisions, and handle multiple priorities.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills with patients, families, and co-workers.
