Nephrology Schenectady is hiring a full time Clinical Coordinator, RN to join their team! This is a 30-32-hour work week.
The RN Clinical Coordinator ensures efficient staffing and daily operations by managing clinical staff schedules, assignments, and training to maintain optimal patient flow. This role supports the Practice Coordinator in overseeing staff performance, compliance with policies, and adherence to safety and infection control guidelines. Additionally, the coordinator actively participates in clinical tasks, including patient care procedures, authorizations, and equipment maintenance, ensuring a high standard of patient care and operational efficiency.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to :
- Ensuring adequate staffing for the clinical team, processing clinical staff time off requests and well as assignment staffs' daily assignments. Covering in any area of the practice as needed for optimal patient flow.
- Training and onboarding of all clinical staff. Ensure all clinical staff is trained and competent on all aspects of their role. Arrange training if needed.
- Assist the Practice Coordinator with general managerial functions such as : Monitoring staff productivity, performance and staff adherence to policies and procedures.
- Communicate any staffing issues, including attendance, performance and / or any concerns to the Practice Coordinator for both clerical and clinical staff.
- Ensure the practice is up to date and in adherence with all safety and infection control guidelines.
- Meet with staff, hold staff meetings as needed and communicate any pertinent information to the staff / providers as warranted. Document as needed for employee HR file.
- Maintain inventories for all clinical and clerical supplies including ordering and ensuring product is received.
- Work with patients to resolve complaints and / or concerns.
- Maintain the strictest patient and staff confidentiality.

Annual salary range : $31.41-$56.49
