Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Health Law Specialist to join our team. As an Associate In-House Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the legal needs of our organization.
The successful candidate will have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and at least 5 years of experience in health law, preferably in private practice or as in-house counsel. Admission to practice law in New York is also required within 180 days of hire.
Main Responsibilities:
* Review and draft proposed contracts, ensuring they meet business and legal objectives
* Provide legal advice on corporate governance and administration
* Assist in preparing and reviewing corporate documents, including bylaws, minutes, resolutions, policies, procedures, and forms
* Support CCP TASS risk management activities by anticipating and guarding against legal risks
* Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, providing timely updates to the team
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* JD degree from an accredited law school
* 5 years of health law experience in private practice or as in-house counsel
* Admission to practice law in New York within 180 days of hire
* Strong contract negotiation, drafting, and review skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
