Experienced ER/CC Veterinary Technician (All Shifts)

Community Care Veterinary Specialists, in beautiful Gainesville, Florida, is a privately owned small animal speciality hospital in North Central Florida.

We are seeking a Full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team and fill our day-time, mid-shift, and overnight ER / CC roles. The ideal candidate must be mature, motivated, and have excellent communication skills. We offer great benefits after 60 days of employment.

Qualifications :

• Three to five years of Veterinary Medicine Experience, specifically in Emergency, Surgery, or Speciality practice.
• Knowledge of animal care and nursing, especially critical care.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and terminology.
• Knowledge of the equipment and materials used and their availability and applications.
• Comfort running the floor and managing clinic flow for inpatient and outpatient circumstances
• Qualified candidates are excellent communications and multi-taskers, who are able to work independently, and as part of a team. They should be detail oriented and able to provide exceptional customer service and professional client communication.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs.
• CVT preferred but not required.

Duties :

This position participates in weekend and holiday rotations.
