Inspire and support school administrators, faculty, and staff to reach their full potential. Strengthen community connections and streamline student assessments to empower success. Drive recruitment and retention efforts to build a team of exceptional educators. Evaluate staff meaningfully in alignment with state standards and promote professional growth through tailored development. Build partnerships with colleges and universities to enhance learning with interns and student teachers. Collaborate with the CEO on school growth, priorities, and opportunities. Stay ahead of educational trends and ensure compliance with mandates and best practices. Work with leadership to craft a budget aligned with our mission of educational excellence. Ensure high-quality programs and monitor student progress and outcomes. Lead the charge on innovative teaching methods and behavior strategies. Take on special projects with enthusiasm and a commitment to continuous improvement. What We're Looking For : Leadership Experience : 5 years in special education administration with a proven record of success and innovation preferred. Teaching Expertise : 5 years as a full-time special education teacher in a public or accredited private school preferred. Problem Solver : Skilled in program evaluation, creative problem-solving, and delivering impactful solutions. Curriculum : Ability to seek out and implement curriculums in line with current best practices. Strong Communicator : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively. Time Management : Adept at prioritizing and juggling multiple initiatives seamlessly. Certifications : Connecticut Special Education Certification (165) and Intermediate Supervisors Certification (092) required; CPR certified or willingness to complete the CCGC sponsored course. Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., perform frequent movement (standing, sitting, bending), and adapt to various environments and conditions. Why Join Us?
