Position Summary
The Talent Management Specialist is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources team, and ultimately, to the team members of the credit union through implementing, coordinating, and the administration of human resource activities. The Talent Management Specialist will run the daily functions of the HR department including recruiting and employee relations, and supporting policies and procedures.

Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to recruitment, disciplinary matters, performance, and talent management.Conduct full life cycle recruitment including utilizing several sourcing resources and strategies, screening, interviewing, and the offer process.Expedite recruiting needs with qualified candidates; develop results-driven staffing strategies that meet current & future needs.Facilitate an organized, compliant, and efficient recruitment process by maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, files, and notes related to candidate interactions and statuses to ensure full compliance with all established legal and internal requirements.Prepare appropriate interview materials including resume copies, scorecards, assessment documents, and assignment materials.Ability to analyze recruiting and performance documents, recommend improvements and efficiencies. Included are assessment tools to determine skill gaps, ATS processes implementing RPA, interview tools for recruiter and hiring manager, and performance improvement & management documents.Conduct as-needed recruitment meetings with business unit leaders to assess departmental needs.Conduct recruitment strategy meetings, market open positions, review resumes, screen applications, interviews, reference checks, and related activities to ensure timely, compliant, and thorough staffing practices.Assist in maintaining and updating job descriptions for open requisitions, ensuring they align with current roles and responsibilities.Supports employee relations, which may include recommendations for disciplinary action, performance improvement plans, terminations, and team member concerns.Ensure team members’ needs are met by administering the HR Helpdesk ticket system.Assist with the implementation of performance management processes, including performance reviews and feedback mechanisms.Help maintain a positive and inclusive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement and satisfaction including responses through engagement platforms.Maintain knowledge and update contents of the credit union team member handbook and related employment policies to provide an effective resource in accessing and understanding organizational policies and procedures.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Job Qualifications

Education
Bachelor’s Degree or HR certification - Preferred
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in essential duties.
Skills & Abilities
Excellent knowledge of HR practices and principles, and all applicable recruitment and employment safety laws and regulations in the US.
Experience with recruiting and retaining talent
Experience with administering and maintaining performance
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently

Mental Demands
The team member must be able to read and interpret documents or instruments, understand and / or follow complex written and oral instructions, make decisions, recall multiple policies or procedures, resolve problems or unique circumstances in a timely and efficient manner, be able to express oneself clearly and / or concisely, perform mathematical functions, and handle multiple, concurrent tasks. Must be able to always remain calm and professional, understanding that members may express emotional frustration when the credit union cannot meet their specific requests.
