Action Health Partners is a non-profit organization with 20 employees that are dedicated to educating, supporting, and empowering individuals to improve quality of life and well-being for members of our communities. Our organization is growing and we are seeking an I.T. Operations Coordinator to add to our team.
This position reports to the Clinical/I.T. Director and is hybrid based with 50% of the work being in our Wenatchee office or other local areas for meetings or trainings.
Job Summary
The IT Operations Coordinator supports the organization’s IT infrastructure by managing daily operation, coordinating projects, and ensuring system performance. This position will work closely with our IT vendors to ensure efficient operations. This position acts as the primary liaison for IT concerns, vendor interactions, and enhancing operational processes.
Primary Duties
General:
- Represent the organization professionally and foster positive relationships.
- Assist with other projects, tasks, and duties as assigned.
Operational Support:
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, networks, platforms, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues for hardware, software, and networks not supported by our IT Vendor.
- Manage IT service tickets, ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction.
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate IT projects, including timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and priorities.
- Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely completion.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the liaison between the organization, vendors, partners, and service providers.
- Manage contracts, renewals, and vendor performance.
- Communicate updates and system changes to stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records, including system documentation, workflows, change control, processes, procedures, and other business requirements.
- Generate reports on IT operations, system performance, and project status.
Compliance and Security:
- Support IT security initiatives, including audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations, such as HIPAA or GDPR.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and resources for end-users and groups on IT systems and tools.
- Provide onboarding and education to staff about IT, policies and procedures, application use, and other IT related issues.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge and skills
- Familiarity with client documentation platforms
- Strong understanding of HIPAA, 42-CFR, and other security standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in operations, support, or coordination roles with strong technical background.
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and practices.
- Preferred certifications in ITIL Foundation Certification, CompTIA Network or A , and/or Project management certifications, such as CAPM or PMP.
Environmental Factors:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Adequate speech, visual, and hearing abilities to effectively interact with staff and customers.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
