Community Cleaning and Maintenance was formed to provide professional janitorial and maintenance services to properties in the Central and Northern Alabama area. We have continuously been serving the Birmingham market since 1975, and have established relationships within the labor market and have provided training, supervision and service management of buildings and projects throughout the metropolitan area.
Description of role:
We are currently seeking energetic and highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Part Time Janitorial Porter/Groundskeeping. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The Janitor will be responsible for the following:
Tasks:
- Walking grounds to remove trash, pet waste, etc.
- Using small pressure washer to remove walkway stains
- Use a scraper to remove gum and other sticky residue from breezeways
- Using a blower to remove leaves and debris across property
- Exterior/Interior Stair well sweeping, dusting of all rails, etc.
- Cob web removal from exterior breezeways
- Pet Station waste removal and liner replacement
- Elevator Cleaning
- Restroom Cleaning and Stocking
- Amenities cleaning as needed
- Glass Cleaning
- Trash Removal
- Vacuuming/Sweeping
- etc.
Skills and Requirements:
- 1 years janitorial experience
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Capacity to take direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work outside in seasonal elements
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds as necessary
Work Schedule:
Monday thru Friday 8AM-1PM
Salary: This positions pays $14.00/hr
