OUR HISTORY
Community Cleaning and Maintenance was formed to provide professional janitorial and maintenance services to properties in the Central and Northern Alabama area. We have continuously been serving the Birmingham market since 1975, and have established relationships within the labor market and have provided training, supervision and service management of buildings and projects throughout the metropolitan area.
Description of role:
We are currently seeking energetic and highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Full Time Commercial Janitor. The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing common areas, bathrooms, glass, trash removal, etc.
Tasks:
- Sweeping
- Dusting
- Mopping
- Glass Cleaning
- Trash Removal
- Vacuuming
- Rest room cleaning and touch up
- Event set up/clean up
- Assist staff as needed
- Cleaning cafeteria tables
- Breaking down and removing boxes as needed
- Assist with cleaning emergencies as needed
Skills and Requirements:
- 1 years janitorial experience
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Capacity to take direction
- Ability to work in a diverse setting
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds as necessary
- Must be able to pass a background check
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday
7AM-4PM (8 Hours per shift/40 Hours per week)
Salary: This position pays $15.00
