Position Summary :

The Strategic Initiatives Coordinator will support the Chief Strategy Officer by tracking legislative and policy changes, analyzing internal data, and monitoring the progress of the organization’s strategic plan. This individual will be essential in helping the health center stay informed on key developments and ensure alignment with organizational priorities. They will work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and other teams to provide insights and recommendations that support decision-making and long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in tracking the progress of the organization’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with set goals and objectives. Regularly report on progress, identify any gaps or delays, and recommend adjustments to keep the organization on track to meet its strategic priorities.
  • Provide project management assistance, utilizing project management systems and software to update activities, track progress against goals, and coordinate with staff
  • Track key performance indicators related to strategic initiatives. Support report preparation for the leadership team, identifying opportunities for improvement or areas requiring attention.
  • Develop reports, presentations, and updates on legislative changes, strategic plan progress, and internal data findings for staff, leadership, and external partners.
  • Monitor local, state, and federal healthcare policies, regulations, and legislative changes that could impact the health center. Provide regular updates and recommend potential actions to align with or respond to these developments.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret internal organizational data related to key metrics such as patient outcomes, service utilization, and operational efficiency. Identify trends and insights to support strategic decision-making and improve service delivery.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in legislative policy tracking, data analysis, or strategic planning, preferably within healthcare, public health, or nonprofit sectors.
  • Experience working in a community health center or healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Skills :

  • Strong ability to track legislative and policy changes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to interpret and apply insights to organizational strategies.
  • Knowledge of community health, public health trends, and healthcare policy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
  • Skilled in compiling data from a variety of internal and external sources and analyzing data and systems
  • Proficient in use of office software : Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; SharePoint
  • Ability to execute projects, meet scheduled milestones, and meet deliverables on time with quality outputs
