Job Summary
Community Clinic is seeking a Registered Medical Assistant for a busy family practice clinic in Siloam Springs. Must have an active RMA certificate. Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintains patient flow during clinic so as to assure prompt service for patients.
- Obtains vital signs, measurements and laboratory tests accurately, as per protocol.
- Obtains chief complaint and reason for visit using excellent listening skills.
- Administers medications via injection
- Maintains exam room supplies and cleanliness for optimal efficiency.
- Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training.
- Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Registered Medical Assistant certification required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- 1 years of experience in a clinic setting preferred.
