Job Summary
Community Clinic is seeking a front desk Patient Coordinator for a busy family practice clinic in Springdale. Must have either Spanish or Marshallese language ability in addition to English. Must have strong computer skills, excellent communication, organizational ability, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service during all aspects of a patient visit to Community Clinic.
- Ensures patient information is entered into the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately and updated regularly for all patients.
- Ensures patient payments are collected, posted correctly to accounts and collections are balanced daily.
- Schedules patient appointments
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
- Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training.
- Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office is required
- Bilingual Spanish/English or Marshallese/English is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.
