Job Summary
Community Clinic is seeking an experienced Quality Director to oversee our Quality Department. This role oversees our quality assurance (QA) and quality improvement (QI) programs and directly supervises the case management, care coordination, health coaching, and metrics teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains the annual QA/QI Program.
- Oversees Patient Satisfaction Survey processes and improvement activities as identified in the Survey.
- In collaboration with clinical and operational leadership, ensures Community Clinic’s teams improve in designated quality measures.
- Supervises Health Coaches, Care Coordinators, Case Managers, and the Metrics team including hiring, evaluation, discipline, and performance management
- Guides the organization toward maintaining third party quality recognition [e.g., Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)].
- Oversees and maintains value-based program contracts with external organizations (e.g., an Accountable Care organization, private insurance companies, etc.).
- Facilitates the Interdisciplinary QI Committee (IQIC).
- Uses UDS metrics as indicators of quality to direct QA/QI Program.
- Supports cross functional teams to include the Compliance Director and CEO in compliance with HRSA / BPHC expectations and requirements, guidelines and laws.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution is required.
- 2 years experience in a Quality or Value-Based care role in a healthcare organization is required.
- Experience leading people and teams is required, preferably in multiple locations.
- Experience in an FQHC, PCMH, ACO, or other similar value-based program preferred.
- Nursing or healthcare provider experience preferred.
- Possession of a Quality Improvement specialty certification is a plus.
