Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Oncology/Hematology)

Our multidisciplinary team is committed to improving patient outcomes while providing the highest level of care in a supportive, collaborative environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to be a part of our patient care team in both clinical and research settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to Oncology and Hematology patients, including assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
-Screen patients for eligibility and enrollment in clinical trials, ensuring they understand the process and benefits.
-Manage patient care throughout the continuum, including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and follow-up care.
-Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests such as lab work, imaging, and biopsies.
-Prescribe medications, including chemotherapy agents, supportive care medications, and other treatments as needed.
-Educate patients and their families about their diagnoses, treatment options, and coping strategies.
-Monitor patients’ progress and coordinate care with Oncologists, Hematologists, and other specialists.
Provide emotional support to patients and families, ensuring high levels of compassion and understanding.
-Document patient care accurately and in compliance with organizational protocols.
-Stay current with the latest advancements in Oncology and Hematology to ensure evidence-based practices are applied.
Qualifications:
-Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
-Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
-Experience in Oncology/Hematology nursing (preferably as a Nurse Practitioner).
-Strong knowledge of Oncology and Hematology clinical practices, chemotherapy, and other treatments.
-Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. BLS/ACLS certification required.
