What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Support Assistant I - Part Time position at Community College of Baltimore County?
The purpose of this class is to provide entry level administrative support services to assigned department or program.
High school diploma/GED and one-year related office experience; knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications; ability to type 30 wpm. Must complete the Microsoft Skills assessment including Word, Excel, and Typing.POSITIONS located on the Essex, Dundalk, and Catonsville campuses.
Shifts vary on center needs:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30am -7pm
Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Saturday 10:00am - 2:00pm1. Assist and provide information to students, faculty, administrators and the college community.
2. Process incoming and outgoing mail.
3. Enter data into college systems.
4. Maintain records and files.
5. Answer, screen and direct telephone calls.
6. Type letters, reports, documents and other correspondence.
