Teach introductory networking classes. Classes explore informational and theoretical foundations necessary for students to comprehend an overview of the concepts, theory, principles, and practices of data communications and computer networks. These classes are designed for a student seeking an Associate of Applied Science degree in networking and cybersecurity.
Pay rate: Adjunct Level 1 $1,085 per credit hourCampus Locations: Essex & Catonsville
The instructor must have knowledge of hardware including servers, switches, and routers. Class topics include networking software including operating systems (Linux and Microsoft), protocols, services, scripting, and network management. Other topics include virtualization, cloud computing, and security. Availability to teach courses offered in the fall, spring, and summer.
Master’s degree required in related discipline and two years of full-time college level teaching experience in the discipline or the equivalent adjunct teaching experience required. Preferred: CompTIA Security , professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and online teaching experience.
