What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Faculty, Mental Health (10 month) position at Community College of Baltimore County?
The 10-month Nursing Program faculty member is responsible for teaching both didactic and clinical instruction in the nursing program covering primarily mental health nursing. Teaching responsibilities include traditional face to face format and hybrid programs. Teaching responsibilities are during the traditional day program with some evening hours in the hybrid program.

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland; master’s degree in nursing; teaching experience preferred; and 2 years of recent clinical experience in mental health required.

- Provide didactic and clinical instruction in the nursing program.
- Coordinate adjunct faculty assigned to nursing courses.
- Conduct simulated experiences.
- Participate in Nursing Program committees as assigned.
- Assure assigned lectures are current and contain active teaching techniques
- Serves as advisor to nursing students as assigned.
- Participates in the review of courses and curriculum.
- Perfects teaching skills by using supervisor, peer and student feedback.
- Participates in School of Health Professions activities such as School Orientation and Interdisciplinary activities.
Salary : $61,200 - $84,714
